The language reference

This page is docs/reference.md, rendered. It is the normative text: what it does not describe does not exist in sysr. It is also the model's system prompt in the benchmark: the whole file, after a short preamble. Every sysr example in it is checked by tests/reference-test.rkt, so the examples cannot drift from the checker.

How the reference is kept true

tests/reference-test.rkt reads docs/reference.md and takes every block fenced as ```sysr. Each is checked with verification on, as the CLI would. An example whose first line is ; expect: CODE ... must report exactly those codes; any other must report none at all. Each must also be a fixed point of sysr fmt. A second test keeps the whole text under 15,000 tokens, counted as four characters each, because all of it goes into the model's prompt. In the rendering below, each example carries what the test expects of it.
